We need volunteers to help keep the Dog Park's planters green!

The Canton Garden Association helped make our planters beautiful and we are looking for volunteers to help keep it that way. We need volunteers to sign up for a week of summer watering in July, August or September. It takes around an hour a couple of times a week when it’s hot and dry and it’s easy…just stand there with a hose in your hand and bask in the feeling that you’re performing a public service! As folks pass by, they will even tell you how much they appreciate your hard work! If you can’t take an entire week, just sign up for the dates you can and we can work around your schedule. To sign up, please contact carolcreed@verizon.net and provide your name and the dates you are available. Please sign up from Sunday to the following Saturday.

Other Ways to Contribute

The dog park is free, but the maintenance of it is not. There are many ways to contribute.

• Donate money, tax deductible
• Make a purchase from the Canton Dog Park Online Store
• Participate in the monthly clean-up at the park on the FIRST SATURDAY of every month
• Donate plastic bags. Donations can be placed in large plastic bin next to the shed in the Small Dog side of the park.
• Attend the monthly Dog Park Meeting on the SECOND TUESDAY of every month.
• Participate in Fundraising activities (please email us at info@cantondogpark.org if you are interested in helping out)
